About Beirut

Beirut is Lebanon's capital and largest city. It occupies a peninsula halfway along the country's Mediterranean coast. Greater Beirut had 2.4 million people in 2025, almost half of Lebanon's population. People have lived there for over 5,000 years, which puts Beirut among the oldest cities in the world. It is the seat of government and an important seaport for both the country and the region, and many banks and corporations are based there. The explosion of 2020 in the Port of Beirut, the 2006 Lebanon War and the Lebanese Civil War all severely damaged it, and it was rebuilt after each of these events.

In the largely pedestrianized Beirut Central District, stone-façade buildings line arcaded streets and radial alleyways. Its architecture mixes French and Venetian Gothic styles with Arabesque and Ottoman ones, and it holds old mosques, crusader churches and uncovered Roman-era ruins. High-rise hotels and towers stand along the New Waterfront. The Corniche is a pedestrian promenade of 4.8 km (3 mi) around the seafront. The American University of Beirut campus has 19th-century red-roofed buildings on a wooded hillside, and Gemmayzeh has historic buildings from the French era.

Common questions

Are these Beirut landmark models free?

Yes. All 2 models on this page are free. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.

Can I download Beirut landmark STL files?

Mini Skyline builds each file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.

How tall do the Beirut landmarks print?

On the default 160 mm print they stand between about 5 and 21 mm tall. Each landmark grows with the print size, and Make this print opens the generator with its area already selected. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
