Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Clean tower edges

A tall tower print depends on straight vertical edges and a crisp roofline. Use 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers, and choose Full detail for a large print or Print friendly for a small one.

  2. One piece with the ground

The First Hawaiian Center is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The First Hawaiian Center takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the First Hawaiian Center

The First Hawaiian Center stands at 999 Bishop Street, in Honolulu's downtown. First Hawaiian Bank, Hawaiʻi's oldest and largest bank, keeps its world corporate headquarters in the tower. The skyscraper ranks third in height in the state of Hawaiʻi and in Honolulu, and it holds a prominent place in the downtown skyline.

The building was completed and opened in 1996, under chairman and chief executive officer Walter A. Dods. It reaches 131 m (429 ft), and construction cost more than USD $175 million. Architects from Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates designed it. Residents worried about how skyscrapers would change the Hawaiian landscape. The compromise gave the tower two distinct forms: one side faces the ocean and the other the mountains, with louvered windows toward the sea and vertical windows toward the mountains.

The building includes 2,200 square meters (24,000 sq ft) given over to an open plaza, park space, and waterways at the heart of the downtown financial district. Three galleries inside show work by Hawaiʻi-based artists, and the Honolulu Museum of Art programs them. The site is within walking distance of ʻIolani Palace and the Hawaiʻi State Capitol, among other landmarks.
