3 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Long, low station block
The station spreads out at ground level, so the model stays low and wide. A larger print gives the roofline and entrances more room to read; 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers keep the long edges clean.
- One piece with the ground
Higashi-Kanagawa Station is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Higashi-Kanagawa Station takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Higashi-Kanagawa Station
Higashi-Kanagawa Station is a junction passenger railway station in Kanagawa-ku, Yokohama, Japan, which East Japan Railway Company (JR East) operates. The Keihin-Tōhoku Line and the Yokohama Line both serve it. The station lies 57.2 km (35.5 mi) from the Keihin-Tōhoku Line's terminus at Ōmiya, and it forms the southern terminal of the 42.6 km (26.5 mi) Yokohama Line.
Two island platforms at ground level serve four tracks, with a footbridge to the station building. The Tōkaidō Main Line and the Yokosuka Line run alongside, but neither stops here, and a staffed Midori no Madoguchi ticket office serves passengers. LED platform lighting installed from September 15, 2013 alternates light blue and light green to show whether a departing train is a Keihin-Tōhoku or a Yokohama Line service.
The station opened on September 23, 1908, as a joint-use stop on the Japanese Government Railways Tōkaidō Main Line and the private Yokohama Railway Line. A freight spur to Umikanagawa Station followed on December 10, 1911, and the Keihin Electric Train began running from Higashi-Kanagawa on December 20, 1914. The Yokohama Railway was nationalized on October 1, 1917, and JR East took control when JNR was privatized on April 1, 1987.
