412 m of Hong Kong IFC, 111 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Keep the crown fins clear
The crown ends in closely spaced, narrow fins. Use Print friendly to adapt these thin features to your print scale; a larger print with Full detail preserves their separation.
- Preserve the facade ribs
Fine ribs run up the tower's faces. A larger print keeps these details visible, while a slicer layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm helps keep the stepped detail near the top crisp.
- One piece with the ground
Hong Kong IFC is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Hong Kong IFC takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Hong Kong IFC
Hong Kong IFC, short for International Finance Centre, is a commercial complex in Central on Hong Kong Island, beside Victoria Harbour. Its two skyscrapers, One IFC and Two IFC, share the development with IFC Mall and the Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong. IFC Development built the complex; the consortium includes Henderson Land and Towngas alongside Sun Hung Kai Properties. Beneath the development is Hong Kong station, where Airport Express trains connect with Hong Kong International Airport. The mall contains shops, restaurants, and a cinema.
Two IFC was completed on October 18, 2003, and measures 412 m (1,351.7 ft) in height. It connects to the mall's second phase. Designed for financial institutions, the tower has raised floors for cabling, telecommunications systems, and floor plans with very few columns. Double-deck elevators are another feature. Its structure uses outrigger trusses linked to eight large composite columns around the perimeter. These trusses occupy refuge floors, providing resistance to sideways movement while preserving space that can be rented to tenants.
About this model
Hong Kong IFC is one of more than 4,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
