93 m of the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, 25 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 700 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Wave roof and terraces
One wing of the roof rises while the other steps down in open terraces, with thin white edge ribbons. Print friendly adapts the narrow ribbons and balcony slabs; Full detail keeps the stepped terraces for a larger print.
- Slender crown poles
The twin poles at the crown are the thinnest parts. Print them slowly with good cooling, or choose a larger size, so they stay straight.
- One piece with the ground
The Jumeirah Beach Hotel is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Jumeirah Beach Hotel takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Jumeirah Beach Hotel
Dubai's Jumeirah Beach Hotel is a luxury property in the United Arab Emirates. It welcomed guests in 1997 and is run by Jumeirah, a hotel company based in Dubai. There are 598 rooms and suites, 20 places to eat and drink, and 19 beachfront villas. Its wave shape is a counterpart to the sail-shaped Burj Al Arab next door. When completed in 1997, the hotel was 93 meters high and ranked as the ninth tallest building in Dubai.
The hotel occupies a beachfront site. Guests can use 33,800 square meters (364,000 sq ft) of beach. The Wild Wadi Water Park stands beside the hotel, and entry is unlimited for guests. The beachfront area was once called Chicago Beach. That name came from Chicago Bridge & Iron, a firm that kept floating tankers for oil storage there.
The hotel sits on an island of reclaimed land off the beach of the earlier Chicago Beach Hotel, which was demolished in 1997. The old name persisted for a while, because it had been the working name used publicly while the Burj Al Arab Hotel was under construction, until Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced the new name. The hotel remains a landmark in Dubai.
