Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Tall tower, steady print

A very tall, slender tower needs a steady print. Slow down near the top and keep layers at 0.12 to 0.16 mm so the crown and vertical edges stay crisp; a larger size preserves the floor lines.

  2. One piece with the ground

Marina 101 is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Marina 101 takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Marina 101

Marina 101 is a skyscraper in the Dubai Marina district of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It rises 101 stories and 425 meters (1,394 feet), which makes it the second tallest building in the country after the Burj Khalifa. Its floors hold apartments and a hotel, and the tower follows a postmodernist design.

Construction began in 2007, and completion was first scheduled for 2014. Sheffield Holdings Limited, the original developer, exhausted its capital, and the tower stayed incomplete for years. The tower was completed in 2024. It was designed by the National Engineering Bureau, and the Turkish contractor TAV Construction carried out the building work.

The first 33 floors are designed to host a five-star Hard Rock hotel of 281 rooms, while floors 34 to 100 hold residential apartments. There are 252 one-bedroom apartments, 204 with two bedrooms and 42 with three, plus six duplex penthouses on floors 97 to 100. The 101st floor has a club lounge, a restaurant and a Rock Shop store selling merchandise.
