442 m of KK100, 120 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- A tall tower print
A very tall, slim building needs enough print size for its long vertical faces to stay clean. If you go small, Print friendly adapts the narrowest parts to the scale.
- One piece with the ground
KK100 is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. KK100 takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About KK100
KK100, a supertall skyscraper in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China, was formerly called Kingkey 100 and Kingkey Finance Tower. It rises 442 m (1,450 ft) across 100 stories and stands on Shennan East Road in Caiwuwei, an area often called Shenzhen's financial district. The site sits in the Luohu District, east of Lizhi Park and roughly a kilometer north of the Hong Kong border. A height-to-width ratio of 9.5:1 makes the building one of China's slimmest.
The mixed-use tower gives 98 floors to offices and a hotel. Of the 100 floors, 74 carry 173,000 m2 (1,862,157 sq ft) of Class A offices, while 26 stories hold a six-star business hotel of 35,000 m2 (376,737 sq ft); a garden and restaurants occupy the top four floors. The St. Regis Hotel fills floors 75 through 100. The tower itself opened in September 2011, and the hotel lobby is on the 96th floor.
Beside the tower stands the KK Mall, which opened on November 26, 2010, with luxury brand stores, restaurants, a supermarket and Shenzhen's first IMAX cinema. A fountain stands in front of the building, and there is a viewing deck near the top. No building designed by a British architect has ever been taller.
