6 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Fine layers for small detail
A larger print size keeps small details of the church, and slicer layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep fine vertical trim crisp.
- One piece with the ground
Our Lady of Victory Church is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Our Lady of Victory Church takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Our Lady of Victory Church
Our Lady of Victory, a Catholic parish church of the Archdiocese of New York, is also called the War Memorial Church. Its address is 60 William Street, at the northeast corner where Pine Street crosses, in Manhattan's Financial District. Cardinal Francis Spellman established it in 1944, during World War II. At the front door, a quotation from Spellman dedicates the shrine to Our Lady of Victory as thanks for victory won by the war's dead, whom it calls "valiant."
The brick Georgian Revival church was built from 1944 to 1946 to designs by the New York firm Eggers & Higgins; the planned cost was $430,000, and the land donated by Major Edward Bowes. Its style has also been described as basilican. In 1944 and 1945 the church used temporary premises at 23 William Street. Cardinal Spellman dedicated the church on June 23, 1947.
The lower chapel holds a Soldier's Shrine, and the lobby holds the Teresa Benedicta Auschwitz Memorial, a memorial to one victim of the Holocaust. The church also displays a September 11th Remembrance Book. Bronze plaques in the narthex include one remembering Monsignor Richard J. Pigott, and another noting that the main altar was a gift from Mr. and Mrs. Christopher J. Devine, given in memory of the Kirby and Devine families.
