About Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa
Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa, also called Red Rock Resort, is a hotel and casino in Summerlin South, Nevada, in the Las Vegas Valley. Station Casinos owns and operates it on a site of 59.43 acres (24.05 ha) in the Downtown Summerlin neighborhood, and it is the company's flagship property. It takes its name from Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, which lies close by. It includes a 796-room hotel, a casino of 10,991.3 m2 (118,309 sq ft), a pool area of 3 acres (1.2 ha), a spa and a 16-screen movie theater.
Announcement of the project came in July 2002. It first envisioned a hotel tower of 23 stories and 300 feet (91 m) with 1,000 rooms, plus timeshare buildings in a later phase. In October 2003, some people objected, believing the project would harm the quality of life of Summerlin residents and spoil views toward Red Rock Canyon. A compromise reached in January 2004 lowered the hotel tower to 198 feet (60 m) and dropped the timeshare component entirely.
A groundbreaking ceremony took place on April 15, 2004, and topping off came on March 24, 2005. Perini Building Company was general contractor, and Architropolis, The Friedmutter Group and SADI designed the resort. It opened April 18, 2006, as Summerlin's second casino. Its cost of $925 million, a figure that covers the hotel expansion opened in 2007, made it Station Casinos' most expensive property.

- A long, curved hotel tower
- The hotel tower sweeps along a long arc at one end of the complex. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep the curve smooth, and Print friendly adapts its fine window lines to the print scale.
- Low roofs with small boxes
- The long casino block is topped with many small boxes and stepped edges. Full detail keeps them, which suits a larger print or a fine nozzle; Print friendly simplifies them.
- One piece with the ground
- Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
