About The Pass Casino
The Pass Casino stands in downtown Henderson, Nevada, in the Water Street District. It started life on February 15, 1961, as the Wheel Casino, which was shut by 1962. Paul Perry agreed to purchase it, and attorney Bill Boyd, acting for him, took a stake in the property as payment. Boyd recruited more investors, among them his father Sam Boyd, who was the Mint's general manager. On July 1 it was back in business as the Eldorado Casino.
Next door, the Royal Club was acquired around 1965, which doubled the Eldorado's size. Ownership passed to the Boyds in 1966. In 1977 a renovation costing $1.5 million enlarged the casino to 2,800 m2 (30,000 square feet), matching the growth of the town. Boyd Gaming bought it in 1993 and made it a place to train executives, since a small casino demands hands-on management, and held it until 2020.
Boyd agreed in December 2020 to sell the shuttered casino to DeSimone Gaming, parent of the Railroad Pass Casino. A 45-day renovation costing $7 million brought a pair of new restaurants, a pair of bars and an event space, and the Eldorado became The Pass Casino when it reopened on April 1, 2021. The Mexican restaurant turned Italian, while the 1950s diner became a cafe.

- Flat roof with small units
- The wide roof carries many small boxes. Print friendly adapts them to your print scale so they do not snap off; Full detail suits a large print or a fine nozzle.
- A corner tower element
- A slim decorative tower stands at one street corner. Print slowly with cooling and use 0.12–0.16 mm layers to keep its tip crisp.
- One piece with the ground
- The Pass Casino is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Pass Casino takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
