About Torre Reforma
In Mexico City, Torre Reforma stands 246 meters (807 ft) to the roof, with 57 stories. On completion in 2016 it became the city's tallest skyscraper, exceeding Torre Mayor (225.4 meters, 739.5 ft), next door, and Torre BBVA Bancomer (235 meters, 771 ft), just across the street. Construction began in May 2008.
Among the complex's uses are a restaurant, a mall, entertainment areas and a gym. Vertical Capital Group managed construction, while LBR and Architects was in charge of development. The tower stands at Paseo de la Reforma #483, on the site of a former nightclub. Casa Austin, a historic house from the 1930s near the site, was first slated for demolition, but the decision was made to preserve it as the building's main entrance.
Inside are 45,000 m2 of offices, 2,500 m2 of retail and 2,500 m2 for a gym, while 28 elevators top out at 6.8 meters per second. In 2016 the tower earned LEED Platinum certification. The entertainment magazine Chilango called Torre Reforma and Torre Mayor the non-twin towers, since they stand only a few steps apart.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
| Print size | Landmark height | Scale |
|---|---|---|
| 160 mm default | 67 mm | 1:3,750 |
| 200 mm | 84 mm | 1:3,000 |
| 256 mm | 107 mm | 1:2,344 |

- Slanted wedge top
- The tower ends in a sharp slanted wedge. Layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep the sharp edge crisp, and a larger print size helps keep the point from rounding off.
- Tall slim shaft
- The shaft is tall and narrow, with small window openings. Print slowly with good cooling, and use Print friendly to adapt the thinnest parts to the print scale.
- One piece with the ground
- Torre Reforma is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Torre Reforma takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About this model
Torre Reforma is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
Common questions
Is there a Torre Reforma STL I can download?
Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How big can I print it?
Any print size from 40 mm across. Torre Reforma grows with the print: about 67 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
Is it free?
Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
