About Trump World Tower
Trump World Tower, a residential condominium tower, stands in Turtle Bay, part of Midtown Manhattan, New York City. Its address is 845 United Nations Plaza, between 47th and 48th Streets along First Avenue. Donald Trump developed it, and it was built from 1999 to 2001. The architect Costas Kondylis designed the tower, which has 376 units. Its curtain wall facades are dark, bronze-tinted glass, and the big windows give wide views over the East River and Midtown Manhattan. It is built of concrete to make it more resistant to wind.
Its height is given as 262 m (861 ft), though the city's Department of Buildings records list 257 m (843 ft). The tower has 72 floors, but the top one is labeled 90: Trump worked out the numbering by declaring the building 270 m (900 ft) high and dividing by 10. In plan it is a rectangle 23 by 44 m (77 by 144 ft); its slenderness ratio is 11:1. For a short time it was the world's tallest all-residential tower, until Dubai's 21st Century Tower (2003) and Seoul's Tower Palace 3 (2004) were finished.
In 1997 Trump and his partners, among them the South Korean chaebol Daewoo Corp., agreed to buy the site for $52 million from the United Engineering Trustees. He also obtained air rights, unused, from at least seven neighboring low-rise properties, and demolition began in October 1998. Many neighbors objected to the tower's height and its exterior without distinguishing features, and worried it would dwarf the United Nations headquarters across the street. The opponents were defeated in state court, and construction began in 1999.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

- Tall, narrow slab
- The tower is a tall, narrow rectangular slab. Print slowly with good cooling so the top stays clean, and use layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm to keep the edges sharp.
- Fine vertical facade bands
- Slim vertical bands run up the sides. Print friendly adapts the thinnest lines to your print scale; Full detail keeps them, which suits a larger print.
- One piece with the ground
- Trump World Tower is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Trump World Tower takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

Common questions
Is there a Trump World Tower STL I can download?
Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How big can I print it?
Any print size from 40 mm across. Trump World Tower grows with the print: about 71 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
Is it free?
Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
