About Two Manhattan West

Two Manhattan West is an office tower in Manhattan West, a mixed-use development by Brookfield Properties on the West Side of Manhattan, New York City. Skidmore, Owings & Merrill designed and engineered it, and it was completed in January 2024. Work started late in 2019, and the tower reached 58 stories when it topped out in 2022, with 2 million square feet of space. The lobby holds Christopher Wool's Crosstown Traffic (2023), a work measuring 28 ft by 39 ft that is both his first mosaic and his largest work.

Across 8 acres the development has a boutique hotel, a residential building, four office towers, 225,000 square feet of retail space and a public plaza of 2.5 acres. The complex rests on a deck above the storage tracks for Penn Station, and it forms part of the Hudson Yards Redevelopment.

Manhattan West is bound by Ninth Avenue to the east, Tenth Avenue to the west, 31st Street to the south and 33rd Street to the north. Moynihan Train Hall and Hudson Yards are its neighbors. The six buildings are the Eugene apartment building, the Pendry Manhattan West hotel, the Lofts, and the office buildings One, Two and Five Manhattan West.

How it prints

Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

Landmark height and scale at three print sizes
Print size Landmark height Scale
160 mm default 80 mm 1:3,750
200 mm 100 mm 1:3,000
256 mm 128 mm 1:2,344

Long vertical faces
The tower is a tall slab with rounded top corners and fine horizontal bands. Print slowly with good cooling, and use layers of 0.12–0.16 mm to keep the bands crisp.
Close neighbor beside it
A second tall tower stands right next to this one in the model. A larger print size keeps the narrow gap between them clear.
One piece with the ground
Two Manhattan West is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Two Manhattan West takes the building color.
File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About this model

Two Manhattan West is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Common questions

Is there a Two Manhattan West STL I can download?

Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.

How big can I print it?

Any print size from 40 mm across. Two Manhattan West grows with the print: about 80 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.

Is it free?

Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
