About 4 Times Square
4 Times Square is a skyscraper with 48 stories, standing at Times Square in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. Its address is 1472 Broadway, and it sits between 42nd Street and 43rd Street. It also goes by One Five One, the H&M Tower and 151 West 42nd Street, and it was formerly the Condé Nast Building. Fox & Fowle designed it and the Durst Organization developed it. The building measures 247 m (809 ft) to its architectural tip and 341 m (1,118 ft) to the top of its antenna mast. East of it stands the Bank of America Tower, and the two share a full city block.
The south and east sides have a masonry facade, while the west and north sides have a glass one. At the northwest corner of the base is the Nasdaq MarketSite, whose eight-story cylindrical facade includes a large LED sign. Near the top are an antenna mast and large illuminated signs reading "H&M". Its floor space totals 1,600,000 sq ft, or 150,000 m2, and retail space fills the lowest three stories. It was among the first commercial skyscrapers in the United States to use green design.
In the 1980s and early 1990s, the Prudential Insurance Company of America and Park Tower Realty had plans for a tower on the site. Douglas Durst, who had long opposed a tower there, proposed an office building in late 1995. Most of the space was leased in 1996 by Condé Nast and Skadden Arps. The structure was finished in 1999. The antenna mast was expanded in 2003, and it carries antennas for television and FM radio broadcasts.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
| Print size | Landmark height | Scale |
|---|---|---|
| 160 mm default | 92 mm | 1:3,750 |
| 200 mm | 114 mm | 1:3,000 |
| 256 mm | 146 mm | 1:2,344 |

- Slim lattice antenna mast
- A thin lattice mast rises from the crown. Use Print friendly so it adapts to the print scale, and print slowly with good cooling if you keep Full detail.
- Stepped crown and window grid
- Setbacks lead up to a crown with flat sign panels, and a fine grid of windows covers the shaft. Layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep the grid crisp; a larger print size keeps the crown details distinct.
- One piece with the ground
- 4 Times Square is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. 4 Times Square takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About this model
4 Times Square is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
Common questions
Is there a 4 Times Square STL I can download?
Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How big can I print it?
Any print size from 40 mm across. 4 Times Square grows with the print: about 92 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
Is it free?
Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
