About 432 Park Avenue
The residential skyscraper at 432 Park Avenue stands on Park Avenue at 57th Street, in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. Rafael Viñoly designed the tower, which Harry B. Macklowe and CIM Group developed. It stands 425.5 m (1,396 ft) tall and has 84 numbered stories plus a mezzanine above ground. It is part of Billionaires' Row.
The exterior is a concrete lattice, poured in place using white Portland cement. The tower is divided into 12-story blocks, and between the blocks sit open two-story mechanical levels that let wind gusts pass through. Inside are condominiums, along with resident amenities that include a private restaurant.
The tower was built where the Drake Hotel once stood; that hotel was sold to Macklowe in 2006. Construction plans were approved in 2011, with excavation starting a year later. Sales opened in 2013, the tower topped out in October 2014, and it was officially completed in 2015. When finished, it was the tallest residential building worldwide and third-tallest of any kind in the United States.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

- A very slender lattice tower
- This tall, thin tower with a fine window grid is the main challenge. Print slowly with good cooling and 0.12–0.16 mm layers; Full detail keeps the grid on larger prints, while Print friendly adapts it on small ones.
- One piece with the ground
- 432 Park Avenue is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. 432 Park Avenue takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
