About Zagreb

Zagreb is Croatia's capital and its largest city. It lies in the north of the country, on the Sava River at the foot of the Medvednica mountain, near the border with Slovenia, at an elevation of roughly 158 m (518 ft). It holds a distinct status as a Croatian administrative division, a consolidated city-county separate from Zagreb County, and is split into 17 city districts. Transport links, industry, research institutions and an industrial tradition underpin its economy, and the central government, with almost all ministries, sits in the city.

Neboder went up on Ban Jelačić Square in 1958, Zagrepčanka on Savska Street in 1976 and the Zagreb TV Tower on Sljeme in 1973. A long-standing rule against buildings of 10 stories or more left most of the city's high-rises to the 1970s and 1980s, while new apartment blocks on the edges usually run 4 to 8 floors. A plan approved in the 2000s allowed taller work, among it the Strojarska Business Center, the tallest high-rise in Zagreb. The historic core north of Ban Jelačić Square, Gornji Grad and Kaptol, forms a medieval complex of churches, palaces, museums and government buildings.

Common questions

Are these Zagreb landmark models free?

Yes. All 2 models on this page are free. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.

Can I download Zagreb landmark STL files?

Mini Skyline builds each file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.

How tall do the Zagreb landmarks print?

On the default 160 mm print they stand between about 7 and 11 mm tall. Each landmark grows with the print size, and Make this print opens the generator with its area already selected. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
