About the Emirates Office Tower

Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is the address of the Emirates Office Tower, an office building of 54 floors. A retail boulevard links it to the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel, and the pair are commonly called the Emirates Towers complex. The structure reaches 355 m (1,165 ft) in total, with the roof at 311 m (1,020 ft). Builders finished it on November 3, 1999.

NORR designed the complex, and its two towers are equilateral triangles, a shape that is one of its kind in Dubai. The tower is built around three large core walls, which hold up the load that large steel trusses transfer at four levels. One face has a curved wall rising almost its full height, giving a view across the city.

The exterior is clad in silver aluminum panels and in silver and copper reflective glass. At the base, each tower is flanked by a low curvilinear structure holding parking and service elements. A terraced podium supports both towers; it holds a boutique mall, restaurants and cafes, and its leasable retail area is 7,500 m2 (80,730 sq ft). Landscaping, with undulating land forms and water features, is part of the design.

How it prints

Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

Landmark height and scale at three print sizes
Print size Landmark height Scale
160 mm default 97 mm 1:3,750
200 mm 121 mm 1:3,000
256 mm 155 mm 1:2,344

Thin spire on a pointed top
The pointed crown carries a very thin spire. Print friendly thickens it for the print scale; Full detail keeps it slim, so print slowly with cooling on.
Narrow, tall shaft
The tower is tall and triangular. A larger print size and 0.12-0.16 mm layers keep the floor lines crisp.
Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Emirates Office Tower takes the building color.
File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About this model

The Emirates Office Tower is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Common questions

Is there an Emirates Office Tower STL I can download?

Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.

How big can I print it?

Any print size from 40 mm across. The Emirates Office Tower grows with the print: about 97 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.

Is it free?

Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
