About Hudson Greene
Hudson Greene, a pair of towers in Jersey City, New Jersey, forms an apartment complex. The condominiums are in the East Tower (77 Hudson Street), and the rental apartments are in the West Tower (70 Greene Street). Each tower has 48 floors and stands 152 m (500 ft) tall. The architecture firm CetraRuddy designed the complex.
Construction began on June 25, 2006. The East Tower was completed in 2009 and the West Tower in 2010. The East Tower holds 420 residences, plus 19,000 square feet (1,800 m²) of retail space at street level. In October 2007 a blaze on the West Tower set construction back, and fighting it was difficult because of the stage the building had reached.
The complex belongs to a building boom in what had been a decayed railroad, warehouse and waterfront district of Jersey City. One description calls it among the most handsome buildings in Jersey City, citing facades of blue glass, gentle angles, and balconies that project from the lower sections. Among its awards are the Masonry Award at the 2009 NJ Golden Trowel Awards and an Honorable Mention in the 2011 CTBUH Best Tall Buildings program.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
| Print size | Landmark height | Scale |

- Balconies and stepped crowns
- The lower floors carry rows of small balconies, and both towers end in stepped tops. Full detail at a larger print size keeps them crisp; a layer height of 0.12-0.16 mm helps.
- One piece with the ground
- Hudson Greene is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Hudson Greene takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About this model
Hudson Greene is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
Common questions
Is there a Hudson Greene STL I can download?
Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How big can I print it?
Any print size from 40 mm across. Hudson Greene grows with the print: about 42 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
Is it free?
Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
