179 m of Jardine House, 49 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Slender tower, straight edges
A slender tower loses its vertical edges first. Print it larger, or choose Print friendly to adapt thin parts; 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers keep the flat faces and roofline crisp.
- One piece with the ground
Jardine House is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Jardine House takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Jardine House
Jardine House is an office tower at 1 Connaught Place in Central, on Hong Kong Island. It was completed in 1973 and was then the tallest building in both Hong Kong and Asia; the Hopewell Centre took the Hong Kong title in 1980. Hongkong Land Limited, part of the Jardines group, owns the building, and the Central Elevated Walkway links it with other Hongkong Land properties including the International Finance Centre and Exchange Square.
The tower has a curtain wall of round windows. The circular shape allowed the structural frame to be thinner than it would otherwise have been. The 52-story building went up in 16 months on reclaimed land, which Hongkong Land had secured on a 75-year lease at a record HK$258 million in 1970.
Three earlier Jardine Houses stood at number 20 Pedder Street, where it meets Des Voeux Road Central. The first was built in 1864. Metal lettering from the old building was saved and reused in the new lobby. At opening, its Otis elevators were the fastest in Asia, with one bank moving at 1,400 feet per minute, or 430 m/min.
About this model
Jardine House is one of more than 4,400 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
