About One Madison
One Madison is a tower of luxury residential condominiums in the Flatiron District of Manhattan, across from Madison Square Park. Between Broadway and Park Avenue South on 23rd Street, it marks the southern terminus of Madison Avenue. Its official address and main lobby entrance are at 23 East 22nd Street, and it has no public door on 23rd Street. The tower has 60 stories and rises 189.3 m (621 ft).
When first announced, the tower was to have 47 stories and be called The Saya. It became One Madison Park around 2006, when construction began, and One Madison after the Related Companies took it over. It topped out in 2010 but stayed unfinished for another three years because of financial difficulties. By 2013 a consortium of creditors owned it. The Related Companies were part of that group, along with HFZ Capital Group and the CIM Group, and they completed construction.
CetraRuddy designed the tower. Part of it is cantilevered over a three-story building that was already there, to its east. The cross-section is 15.25 m by 16.15 m (50 ft by 53 ft), so the tower stands 12 times as tall as it is wide. Because the design called for windows on all sides, the bracing that would normally ring the perimeter sits at the center in a cruciform shape, forming internal shear walls of high-performance concrete. On the roof, three U-shaped tanks of reinforced concrete filled with water form a tuned liquid damping system, which cuts lateral motion in the tower by about 3%.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
| Print size | Landmark height | Scale |

- A very slim tower
- The tower is narrow for its height. Printing slowly helps a tall, slim shaft, and layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep its edges crisp.
- Box-shaped bays up the sides
- Box-shaped bays stick out at different heights along the sides. Print friendly adapts these small projections to the print scale; Full detail keeps them, which suits a larger print.
- One piece with the ground
- One Madison is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. One Madison takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About this model
One Madison is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
Common questions
Is there a One Madison STL I can download?
Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How big can I print it?
Any print size from 40 mm across. One Madison grows with the print: about 51 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
Is it free?
Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
