About Tallinn

Tallinn is Estonia's capital and its largest city. It sits on a bay along the Gulf of Finland, in the north of the country, about 80 km (50 mi) south of Helsinki. With 452,563 residents in 2026 it is the third-largest city by population in the Baltics, and the metropolitan area was estimated at 646,315 in 2024. Tallinn is the country's main governmental, financial, industrial and cultural center. From the 13th century to the 20th century's first half, much of the world knew it by variants of the name Reval, and as Reval it received Lübeck city rights in 1248.

The Old Town counts among Europe's best-preserved medieval cities and holds UNESCO World Heritage status. It is made up of a lower town and Toompea hill and is easy to explore on foot. Its port grew into an important trade hub, mainly between the 14th and 16th centuries, when Tallinn was the Hanseatic League's northernmost member city. In the eastern districts, Kadriorg has Kadriorg Palace and Pirita has Pirita Convent. The Estonian Open Air Museum, at Rocca al Mare to the west, keeps examples of rural culture and architecture. Wooded historical suburbs such as Kalamaja and Pelgulinn are also worth a visit.

Yes. All 2 models on this page are free. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.

Can I download Tallinn landmark STL files?

Mini Skyline builds each file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.

How tall do the Tallinn landmarks print?

On the default 160 mm print they stand about 7 mm tall. Each landmark grows with the print size, and Make this print opens the generator with its area already selected. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
