About Cape Town
Cape Town serves as South Africa's legislative capital and hosts the national Parliament. It is the oldest city in the country, the capital of the Western Cape and its largest city, and second in population nationally after Johannesburg. The city sits on the shore of Table Bay, where the City Bowl, home to the central business district, is the Western Cape's oldest urban area. Its metropolitan area has a long Atlantic coastline reaching False Bay in the south, and Table Mountain National Park lies inside the city boundaries. Cape Town is known for its harbor, the Cape Floristic Region around it, Table Mountain and Cape Point.
Table Mountain rises behind the City Bowl, and the central business district holds the Iziko museums, the Houses of Parliament, the South African National Gallery, the Company's Garden (the oldest park in South Africa) and the Castle of Good Hope, along with several theaters. The Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, a mixed-use development, sits partly over the Port of Cape Town's docks and draws more visitors than any other attraction in the city. From the Nelson Mandela Gateway there, ferries leave for Robben Island. The narrow Chapman's Peak Drive links Noordhoek and Hout Bay.

Common questions
Are these Cape Town landmark models free?
Yes. All 2 models on this page are free. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
Can I download Cape Town landmark STL files?
Mini Skyline builds each file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How tall do the Cape Town landmarks print?
On the default 160 mm print they stand between about 16 and 17 mm tall. Each landmark grows with the print size, and Make this print opens the generator with its area already selected. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
